Dear Friends,
I hope you’re doing well. More specifically, I hope you’re treating yourself kindly and finding much to appreciate in your one-of-a-kind life.
In my own one-of a kind life, I decided to do something that everyone’s doing—play around with AI!
It was more of a curiosity to see what might happen…where it might take me. But mainly for shits and giggles.
Yes, just like my kids, AI could very well be the thing that kills me.
But until the robopocalypse, I guess I’m jumping on the flaming bandwagon to extinction and having a little fun with it.
I entered a two-page synopsis of my upcoming novel here, and this is the Amazon book description it spat out:
[Title TBD] is a confessional love letter from one Filipino American to another, exploring the complicated relationships between young people of color and their families, love interests, and themselves.
Bradley Pitt, an aspiring comic book artist with an unlikely namesake, recalls growing up outside of Los Angeles in the 1980s and '90s with Sammie–his best friend and the daughter of his Filipino godmother. With the help of Sammie and her irreverent cousin Dresden, Bradley garners attention from multiple women, including his high school crush, Laurel Snow.
But as Bradley and Laurel hit it off, a sudden desire for Sammie ignites a disastrous fight that could forever change their friendship.
Will Bradley face his deepest truth and find his way back to Sammie? Follow him on his journey of self-discovery and find out! If you enjoyed reading The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon, you will love [Title TBD]. Buy now before the price changes!
I haven’t even read The Sun is Also a Star, but it’s in my Libby queue!
Anyway, there you go. That’s the high-level peek at the plot.
Thoughts?
No matter what you’re thinking, I hope U know how loved U are.
Your friend,
Joe
